About IBPS: IBPS has become one of the most important examinations in India, as it helps you to get into so many banks participating in the Recruitment Process through the exam. The exam is taken by so many Candidates because it opens a huge range of opportunities for graduates, as the banking sector is coming up with large number of vacancies now-a-days.

Tentative Schedule:

• Starting date of Online application: 22 July 2013
• Last date of Online application: 12 August 2013
• Date of Examination: 19 October 2013/ 20 October 2013/ 26 October 2013/ 27 October 2013
• Date to Download of Call Letter for Pre-Examination Training (PET) for SC/ST/ Minority Community candidates: After 25 September 2013
• Date to Download Call letter for Examination: After 07 October 2013
• Date for Pre-Examination Training: 07 October 2013- 12 October 2013
• Date of Declaration of result status of examination (CWE): Third/Fourth Week of 2013
• Date of Download of call letters for Interview: First week of January 2014
• Date of conduct of Interview: Third week of January

Qualification Reqd:
Graduation (B.E/B.Tech/any other degree with 60% (55% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.)

Eligibility:

Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate must be either -
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with
the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri
Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of
Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire,
Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, 4
provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall
be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the
Government of India.

Application fee:
- Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
- Rs. 600 /- for all others
